A fully qualified professional writer with 20 years experience in magazine, trade journal, newspaper and business writing, I have over 400 publication and reprint credits, none of which are self-published. These include feature articles and media reviews, a book chapter, and numerous special reports to university, government, and nonprofit agencies. I have worked with corporate, business, and non-profit materials including web site content,operations manuals, business plans and proposals, reports, newsletter articles, public relations materials, press releases, brochures, and forms. Experienced in copyediting, content editing, proofreading, rewriting, and ghostwriting.

With a graduate education in psychology and public health education built on an undergraduate degree in sociology and a strong emphasis in written communication, I am equipped with the attitude, knowledge, and practical skills to deliver persuasive communication.

My creative nonfiction, nature writing, and writing on writing has appeared on the recommended reading list at several colleges and universities, including Texas Tech University, Metropolitan State College (Denver), and Armstrong Atlantic State University (Savanah).

Elite Word & Image seeks independent contractor work in business and professional writing, particularly corporate and small business feature writing, public relations and other writing vehicles where market positioning, corporate messaging, or image management are integral.

Where appropriate, Elite Word & Image asks content specialists to validate content for accuracy. These can be your own or we can arrange for third party content validation.

We understand the need for legal validation as well and are eager to work with your legal staff or consultants to ensure that content is litigation resistant. We also carry a professional liability insurance package, inlcuding omissions & errors coverage.

Although Elite Word & Image reserves the right to use staff and contract personnel to expedite writing projects, all are required to sign nondisclosure agreements that extend your confidentiality requirements to all parties.

All work performed by staff or contract personnel goes through me before it goes to you. And I do all final drafts.
